Sr. Phyllis Hughes,a Sister of Evron. Director of a Spirituality Centre in Stockport & involved in Retreat work.
WHAT IS A MISSION?
Bourne and Deeping Parishes are about to celebrate a Parish Mission. This is a special event in the life of your Parish
A MISSION happens only once every few years
It is a great OPPORTUNITY to:
- slow down and look at your life
- look at your relationship with God
- look at your relationship with those around you
- look at your relationship with yourself
A MISSION is:
- a reminder of the love of God for each one of us and our world
- an invitation to work more closely with God and your local Parish Community
YOU ARE INVITED!
- Come, hear and share the Word of God with the whole Parish community
- Learn about your relationship with Jesus Christ; renew it and celebrate it.
- A MISSION is for all Catholics who want to deepen their faith and for THOSE searching for THE MEANING OF LIFE
- A MISSION is for all CHRISTIANS who would like to com e along and for those who want to find out more about Jesus Christ.
YOU ARE ALL INVITED!
People stop going to Church or don't go to Church very often for many reasons:
- just get out of the habit
- perhaps they are divorced remarried
- feel unwelcome
- maybe they had an argument with a priest
Whatever the reason, this MISSION will give you the chance to do something about your faith in GOD

MISSION WEEK MASSES
Early Morning Mass: 7.30am Bourne
Mid Morning Mass: 10.30am Deeping (Mon. Wed.& Fri.) Bourne 10.30am (Tues. & Thurs)
If you are off to work or school in the week, why not join us at the 7.30am Mass
A MOMENT OF REFLECTION
There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after 10.30 Mass on Thursday (Bourne) till 4pm. In Deeping after 10.30 Mass on Friday. Invite your family and friends to come along for a moment of peace.
