Deepings Churches Together
The Churches together Group comprises representatives from: -
o St Guthlac - C of E Market Deeping
o Priory Church - C of E Deeping St James
o Methodist Church – Deeping St James
o Open Door (Baptist) Church – Deeping St James
o Our Lady and St Guthlac Roman Catholic Church.
The group arranges: -
- Three joint services a year
- Distribution of Christmas and Easter Cards to the local houses. These give details of the services and contact information.
- Hold Joint Prayer meetings, about three a year.
- Hold a Christmas Carol Service
- Hold a picnic in September
- Hold Cricket Match.
Services:
Sunday 23rd January ~ service for Week of Prayer for Christian Unity at the Methodist Church.
Friday 22nd April ~ Good Friday Walk of Witness starting at St Guthlac's Church and finishing at the Methodist Church.
Pentecost (Sunday 12th June) ~ Open Air service in the evening
Sunday October 16th ~ service at the Priory Church
Alternativity Meal ~ Saturday 26th November
