The Parish

From 1957 until 1984 the parish served an area stretching from Corby Glen down to the Deepings. There were churches at Corby Glen, Bourne and Deeping St James. The Sacred Heart Fathers served the Parish. In 1984, the last of this order, died in service and the Bishop of Nottingham appointed a Diocesan Priest.  The parish Boundaries were also altered.

Corby Glen was transferred to the Grantham Parish and the new area became known as the Parish of Bourne and Deeping.

Mission Statement
